Anatoly Moskvin's parents thought he collected vintage dolls, but they were actually the mummified bodies of young girls. He stole fresh corpses from graves and preserved them using a mixture of salt and baking soda. When he was arrested in 2011, Moskvin said he did this because he believed science could one day bring them back to life.
