The Fallout continues from Michigan basketball coach Juwan Howard being suspended for his actions after the Wisconsin game Sunday were discussing that and parking lots of underdogs for this weekend in college basketball on the latest Three Dog Thursday.
Host T.J. Rives is back with his guests to go over what happened in Madison Sunday and Juwan Howard now having to sit out the final five games of the Michigan regular season.
First, he welcomes Brian Edwards of Vegas Insider and majorwager.com with his insight on the Howard punch thrown and suspension. Brian also gives his thoughts on whether Michigan will rally around interim coach Phil Martelli, who used to be the very successful Saint Joseph's head coach?
Brian also has Underdog thoughts for games on Thursday night including whether Memphis can get back on the winning track at home with Temple in AAC action. And, how good of an underdog is Oregon at UCLA? Brian also has thoughts on a couple of potential SEC Underdogs for Saturday action in college basketball. This includes the huge Arkansas-Kentucky showdown.
Next up, TJ welcomes Dan Leach of 97.1 The Ticket, the FM sports radio station in Detroit for on location analysis of the Howard actions and suspension. Leach weighs in on whether Michigan can salvage their season or not? Dan also has thoughts on the Big Ten strength and how many teams could be headed to the NCAA tournament in a couple of weeks?
Finally TJ is joined by TC Martin of the "TC Martin Show" 5 days a week in Las Vegas. TC has lots of info on the Runnin' Rebels of UNLV and how well they have played in the Mountain West of late. He also gives some analysis on the Thursday night Gonzaga at San Francisco game and whether the Dons might be a live underdog? And, TC previews the Mountain West action Saturday for possible Underdog plays.
