Before the sun had set behind the Honolulu skyline and the beaches of Waikiki, Halima S. Ahmed had, once again, locked her place in American history. By becoming the first woman ever elected to the Office of President of the United States, President Ahmed grabbed the elusive honor which others had only hoped for in previous election battles. Along with all the other ‘first’ which she had achieved when appointed to the Office of the President back in February, 2023, the newly elected President will now be in a much stronger position to push through her socially progressive agenda in the next legislative session.
