In this episode of the Nest Egg podcast, Richard Murphy, CEO and Co-Founder of the XTB range of corporate bond securities on ASX joins host David Stratford. Richard outlines exactly what an XTB is, and how they have made corporate bonds - previously out of reach to most of us - available to the everyday Australian investor on the ASX.

Richard will discuss the predictable nature of the bond market and the growth of "safe money" investment options, why diversification is so important, and the mistake that many of us fall into when attempting to diversify their portfolio. He unpacks risk management, how to calculate an XTB investment return before investing, and discusses the similarities and differences between corporate bond XTBs and term deposits for those focused on fixed income.

Thanks Richard, for sharing your insights with the Nest Egg podcast team!
