Whether it is their history or architecture that captivates you, or whether you’ve encountered them in person or on pages, you would be hard-pressed to find someone who is not intrigued by castles. And someone who is particularly interested in these magnificent structures is Ali Norton. Ali is a PhD student studying at the University of Exeter’s Centre for Medieval Studies.
