Beat*Shot Radio Takeover airs live on beatshotradio.com every Tuesday night at 9PM EST. Discussion topics include:

★State Of Denial: We sit down with activist, organizer, and Executive Director of the Albany Social Justice Center—Angelica Clarke—to recount the massive protest for Black lives which took place yesterday during the mayor’s annual State of the City address.
★Reparations: Is there ANYTHING White Americans hate more than the idea of reparations? We discuss. Tweet your suggestions to #WorseThanReparations @BeatShotRadio
★Would You Rather?: We list two equally unappealing situations or actions, and you have to decide which one you’d opt for if forced to choose. (Ex: Let your favorite pet die of natural causes, or extend your pet’s life by ten years BUT you have to eat them at the end of those ten years)
★Art Over Everything: While public schools continue to cut art and music programs, two kids from Albany’s South End—Lee Reh and Rah-mene McDuffie—just won $5,000 and a trip to the Grammy’s for their original song “Fight.” We discuss how awesome they are, and why some people see art programs as more important than every other school curriculum.
★Racist White Kids: Teenage girls in Arizona thought it would be funny to spell out “ni**er” using their shirts in a group photo and post to the internet. What the f*ck is wrong with White kids? We discuss.
★As If: We make fun of Stacey Dash because we must, and expand the conversation to address why she’s as ignorant as she is conventionally attractive when it comes to her views on Black representation in society.
