Speaking from the Oval Office as he prepares to hand over power Monday to President-elect Donald Trump, President Joe Biden used his farewell address to the nation to deliver stark warnings about an “oligarchy” of the ultra-wealthy taking root in the country and a “tech-industrial complex” that is infringing on Americans' rights and the future of democracy. Biden used his 15-minute address to offer a model for a peaceful transfer of power and — without mentioning Trump by name — raise concerns about his successor. It marked a striking admonition by Biden, who is departing the national stage after more than 50 years in public life, as he has struggled to define his legacy and to steel the country against the return of Trump to the Oval Office. This time, the president, who has repeatedly called Trump a threat to the nation’s system of governance, went even further, warning Americans to be on guard for their freedoms and their institutions during a turbulent era of rapid technological and economic change. Tuna sold at major retailers across the country is being recalled because of a potentially fatal flaw. Canned tuna brands sold at stores including Walmart, Trader Joe's and Costco are being pulled from shelves because of a packaging error that poses a risk of botulism, a potentially fatal form of food poisoning. The canned tuna is sold under the Genova, Van Camp's HEB, and Trader Joe's brand names. The recalled canned tuna products were distributed in at least 26 states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. According to the CDC, botulism can result in difficulty breathing, muscle paralysis, and – in the most severe cases – death. Consumers are warned not to use the product even if it does not look or smell spoiled. Image credit: Getty Images…

Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts is on top of the world right now. The Eagles’ star quarterback made good on his promise Sunday after winning the big game—he's gone to Disney World. He led the parade at the Magic Kingdom on Monday afternoon, with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy standing by his side. “Being here is such a blessing,” Hurts told the crowd. “You dream about coming here as a kid. And to be in paradise with you great fans, all the great support, Eagles everywhere across the world—thank you for the support. We brought it home to Philly.” Hurts isn't finished leading parades, though. He and the rest of the team have a very important Valentine’s Day date with the City of Brotherly Love. That's when Philadelphia is hosting the Eagles’ victory parade. Image credit: Gary Hershorn/Getty Images…
