Manage episode 413207966 series 3556366
The Mummafesto podcast is hosted by Stella Creasy MP, a Labour backbench MP and mum of two young children. Each week it considers how parenting influences politics.
In episode 7 I speak to Catriona Ogilvy, founder of The Smallest Things Charity. The Smallest Things is run entirely by volunteers who've had premature babies who campaign to raise awareness, instigate change and support families of premature babies. They've successfully campaigned for legislative change that enables parents to take an extended period of paid leave whilst their child is in the NICU, as well as supporting families once they leave the hospital.
You can find out more about The Smallest Things incredible work via their website and instagram - thanks for listening!
