What do you think of when you think of abiding? What does abide mean to you?
"Growing up, abide always meant safety. It meant home. Abide meant that I was protected and no one could hurt me. Though this is absolutely true, I’ve learned that it’s so much more."
Abiding isn’t just staying inside, scared of what is outside. Abiding is staying in Jesus, filled with the abundant life and able to do more than I could ever imagine. That’s what Paul says in Ephesians 3:20. “Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.”
