In the third episode Frank begins with a story, albeit not complete in detail, of how watching TV as a youth has affected him later on in life. He uses the HBO show Dream On from thirty or so years ago as an analogy comparing that show's main character to himself. He then shares a personal example from when he tried to kiss girls on the cheek and/or lips as a prepubescent 6 or 7 year old and suggests he learned this from the original Richard Dawson version of Family Feud and Jack from Three's Company. Sometimes this affection worked fine, but he later got into some trouble. More seriously, he mentions life tends to be more of a struggle and sometimes there isn't a happy ending like shown on TV.
For the Priscilla Barnes review today, he checks out her guest appearance as Dan Tanna's love interest in a 1980 episode of Vega$. While Frank thinks Dan is cool as is the premise of the show, this episode failed to hit the mark in several key areas. It was as though a few things were off.
The theme song is called Retro Funk by SoulProdMusic and can be found at pixabay.com.
