This is a common question among intermittent fasters. However understanding what happens when you fast is really important. Knowing “why” you are fasting is equally important. On this week’s episode Martie talks about clean fasting, knowing why you are fasting and your desired outcome as a result of fasting will help you figure out what you can and cannot have during your fast.

In this episode, Martie mentions two books that she uses as resources and may be of use to you! You can find both The Complete Guide to Fasting by Jason Fung, MD and Jimmy Moore as well as Delay Don’t Deny by Gin Stephens on Amazon.
