The Hairy Man of Vergas Trails is a local legend in the small town of Ottertail County located in West Central Minnesota. The town of Ottertail County has a population of just over three hundred people. It is said that the Hairy Man of Vargas Trails is described as being just over eight feet tall, has long straggly hair, a very musty smell and is always described as barefoot. According to local legend it has been sighted since the 1960's. Some claim that it is just a local legend, others claim that it is a local hermit living in the woods scaring off the local children from the area.

In the first two-parter of the podcast, Danielle begins the tale of Griselda Blanco, AKA the Godmother, Queen of Cocaine, and La Madrina. A powerful drug queenpin from Colombia. She became a powerhouse in the 1980s in Miami and was a direct distributor of cocaine for Colombia. She was feared by everyone in the industry and was known to provoke violence even when it wasn't necessary. She made countless enemies including her ex-husbands families after they mysteriously died one by one.
