“Everything is mindset. It doesn’t matter what you thought before. Let it go. Believe that you are the person you think you are, and go with that.”

James O’Keefe founded the therapeutic retreat organisation, Unguarded Warrior, where he helps groups of men process their past and let go of the judgement and expectations that weigh them down. After beginning his own journey of processing the emotional baggage he had been clinging onto throughout his life, he has gained a better understanding of his identity and strives to help other men to do the same.

He speaks to Scott about how, as a young teenager, he became caught up with his older brother’s friends, leading him down a dangerous path of antisocial behaviour and criminal activity. You’ll hear how he teaches people to adopt an abundance mindset by placing them in difficult and often uncomfortable situations in which they have to connect more deeply with themselves and others and how James himself practices what he preaches in order to live a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
