But the truth of the matter is that the lingering effects of rejection leaves behind residue. Anger, self-condemnation, sadness, and other feelings are just traces of unforgotten rejection. Even Jesus felt the sting of rejection at every turn. No matter what He did, He was rejected. People wanted more miracles, more healings, more acts of divinity, and in return He was met with brutality, humiliation, and suffered a criminals death. He was able to turn His residue into a resurrection. What will you do with yours?
