In this episode, we talk about the idea of doing "art for art's sake," and how that leads people to Hollywood and the entertainment industry. We also discuss "above-the-line" and "below-the-line workers," with Rachel and Bailey sharing personal stories about the highs and lows of working in tv and film. We finish our talk discussing ways in which workers can be exploited in the industry, including recent happenings with IATSE, and envision first steps to take to make entertainment a safer, more equitable place for everyone.
