Bio:

Hi there. I’m Bryan Teare and this site is my little online home.

Up until 2013, my life was pretty normal: I stayed out of trouble, followed the rules and worked hard. I thought I had my whole life figured out (including by what age I’d get married!).

But then at my 25th birthday (a dress-up, of course), I started noticing how all of my friends, myself included, were complaining about how much their jobs and the working world sucked.

Yes, we had hit the dreaded Quarter Life Crisis.

Anyway, back to the party. Out of nowhere, I suddenly piped up: “If I could resign now, I would.”

And then it hit me. I could.

In fact, just 1 month later, I had left my comfy engineering job with no plan B.

After some soul-searching while traveling solo through Asia and experimenting with different things that interested me (a process which I believe never ends), I realized that what I had always wanted to do was help others live better and become the best versions of themselves. This led to a personal training certification and later, life coaching.

I began my Quarter Life Comeback by learning what it meant to live optimally and started giving myself what I like to call a ‘Post Grad in How to Live’ by studying different people & principles and applying them to my own life.

In particular, I began defining what I wanted my life to look like and designing my day and work around that (not the other way around!). I started getting rid of all the “stuff” that was cluttering my internal & external environment, simplified my diet and exercise routine and became more aware of how I was spending my time.

I now share what I’ve learned on topics such as simplicity, habits, happiness and health (which I share in my email newsletter), as well as through working with clients one-on-one to help them get clear on what it is they truly want in life, what’s standing in the way and how to actually start moving towards it. You can find more details here.

I don’t claim to be an expert, and my life is still very much a roller coaster of ups and downs. But I’ve committed to creating something I can be proud of, rather than simply cruising along on autopilot.

I put together a free ebook that I’d love to share with you.

To access it, your listeners can simply visit bryanteare.com/yop.
