In this episode, Janey tells us about a study pack that she has written about Lucy Peppiatt’s book: Rediscovering Scriptures Vision for Women: Fresh Perspectives on Disputed Texts. She gives us an overview of Lucy’s approach to the Biblical passages that have often been used to put women in second place of importance to men.
You can access the study pack by signing up to WTC’s free resources: www.wtctheology.org.uk

She also talks about her work as the Chief Operating Officer of (Westminster Theological Centre) WTC, which is an interdenominational, charismatic theological college with a passion for making theology accessible to church members and leaders.
Janey has had a varied career working for the third sector (mostly in humanitarian and development work working for the UN, charities and governments) and also worked as a researcher for Rob Parsons at Care for the Family, worked for local BBC radio, and set up and run several small businesses. She’s married with four adult children and a grandson.

Janey mentions this blog post on 'God and Female Imagery': https://wtctheology.org.uk/theomisc/god-and-female-imagery/

RGP History

Alison & Grace were having a conversation in the summer of 2019 about podcasts and they weren't aware of any at the time that spoke to their context, so they decided to set one up. You can hear more about their thinking about the podcast on the Introductions episode.

Grace & Alison worked on the podcast together for the first year but Grace had other commitments that meant she had to give the podcast up, so from February - August 2021 Alison carried on without her.

In August 2021, Alex & Amy joined Alison and they became the three AAAs.
