A personal, honest, authentic and oftentimes funny account of my life, as an Indian American girl who grew up in a small blue-collar town in PA. I share my struggles growing up in a traditional but dysfunctional family that continues to plague me as an adult, but has also positively shaped my perspective on how I live presently. I’m a former radio personality of 15 years turned mental health counselor, who just really misses radio, especially what radio used to be, and that was great conversations and great personalities. At the height of my career in radio, I had an existential moment, a realization that there has to be a better way to think and live that society doesn’t teach us. Hence the ShiSpot was born. It’s still a work in progress, like my screwy life. I hope my takes on different topics, with the help of some very smart people, can be enlightening and refreshing in some way, different from the norm, and useful/helpful in your own life.
