Key Vocabulary: Frustration: The feeling of being upset or annoyed because things aren’t going as expected. Annoyed: Feeling slightly angry or bothered by something. Confused: Not able to understand something clearly. Comfortable: Feeling relaxed and at ease with your surroundings. Curious: Wanting to know more about something because it’s interesting or unusual. Intriguing: Very interesting or mysterious. Adjust: To get used to something new. Adapt: To change or adjust to new conditions. Adventure: A fun and exciting experience, often in a new place. Challenge: Something difficult that you need to overcome. Stages of Culture Shock: Honeymoon: Exciting and fun experiences as you explore a new culture. Frustration: Annoyance and confusion as things become challenging. Adjustment: Learning and adapting, making new friends and feeling more confident. New Normal: Becoming comfortable and feeling at home in your new surroundings. Grammar Focus: Present Continuous: Formed with the verb "to be" (am/is/are) + verb ending in -ing (e.g., "I am learning"). Used to describe actions happening now or in the near future.
