In this episode titled "Acting Independent vs. Embodying Independence," join us on a journey of self-discovery as we explore what it truly means to be independent.

We'll dive deep into what it feels like to embody true independence.
Imagine taking on the job or client you want, not the one you have to. Imagine knowing who you are and who God says you are, and worrying less about what others think or say. Picture exercising your boundaries instead of tolerating out of fear, and feeling emotionally worthy and enough without relying on outside validation.

We'll contrast "acting independent" with true independence. From childhood to adulthood, acting independent may have involved buying your own clothes and prepping your own meals, but it often came with a cost—seeking love or validation. As an adult, divorce and leaving a marital home might have seemed like independent actions, but they often stemmed from being in survival mode.

What does true independence mean? It involves responsibility for yourself—taking control of your reality, acknowledging your feelings and emotions, and recognizing your value. It means having your own back, not out of ego or trauma (hyper-independence), but at a soul level. True independence is about releasing codependency and aligning with your values and future self.
