P & Rahian recap week 7 matchups, and preview the week 8 action, as well as pick every game, talk fantasy-relevant players, and predict their studs/busts and under the radar picks of the week from NFL kickoff weekend 2020.
STUDS, BUST & UNDER THE RADAR PICKS:
Week 8:
RR:
* Stud: Derrick Henry vs CIN - so, can’t pick on HOU this week bc they’re on a bye. But, let's be real, Henry is the best back in the NFL. A guy who averages almost 24 carries a game and about 6 inside the redzone… He’s guaranteed a TD every week, with 7 over the last 4. TEN favorites and most likely playing with a lead means big week coming for Henry. | 150 total yards + 2 TDs
* Bust: Brees vs CHI - Look, I get it… Brees is a legend, but as bad as the Bears were last week, they're still a great defense. They have yet to allow a QB over 300 yards and only have given up 6 passing TDs in 7 weeks. | Under 250 and 1.5 TDs
* UTR: Brandon Aiyuk vs SEA - You know how I like to attack this SEA secondary and this week is no different. Seems like the Seahawks are in a weekly shootout and looks like another one is looming. With Deebo looking to miss time, Aiyuk will pick up where he left off. | over 80 totals yards & a TD
P:
Stud: My Stud is because of the storyline alone. Leveon bell faces the Jets for an immediate turn around revenge game. Jets are bad at almost everything, and though the chiefs will be without a key OLINE piece. I expect Leveon bell to be used plenty inside the redone to utilize his drive finishing skills. CEH will accumulate the yards, but Bell will vulture his way into a healthy 75 total yards 2 TD’s.
Bust: Davante Parker, Banged up (groin) new QB (growing?) we’re honestly not sure here, this is pure speculation and my source is the stat book and my eyes. The Rams are allowing 2nd fewest fpt to receivers. Expect them to ease tua and use his legs a bit more. I Predict 4 Catches 44 Yards 0 TD.
UTR: Darrel Henderson, Leads the team in Rushing atts, Yards, Tds, and is in a prime matchup vs a team that is allowing 4th most points to the RB position. The Rams have a superior Oline and their game script (rookie qb, def tough vs qb) should yield a lot of opportunities for Ram’s RB’s especially Henderson who looks to have the lead. Prediction : 95 total yards, 1 TD Rushing.
