Michael welcomes three-time Primetime Emmy Award winner, Golden Globe Award winner, and Academy Award-nominated actor Sterling K. Brown. Sterling portrayed Christopher Darden in the FX limited series “The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story” and starred as Randall Pearson in the acclaimed NBC drama series “This Is Us,” among other TV roles. He’s also known for his leading roles in the drama film “Hotel Artemis,” the mockumentary film “Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul,” as well as his voice roles in the animated films “The Angry Birds Movie 2” and “Frozen II.” Sterling had supporting roles in several critically acclaimed films such as “Marshall,” “Black Panther,” “Waves,” and “American Fiction,” for which he received a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Highlights from Sterling and Michael’s conversation include:
