On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a few words on Kyrie Irving's impending return to the court for the Brooklyn Nets. Kyrie's return couldn't come at a better time for the NBA as the League has gotten pretty stale as of late. Later, our fearless leader take a verbal blowtorch to NFL MVP voter Hub Arkush who said during a radio interview that he would not vote Aaron Rodgers for MVP because the Green Bay Packers quarterback is a 'jerk' and a 'bay guy'. Seriously. Arkush added that Rodgers might not even be as valuable to his team as Jonathan Taylor is to the Indianapolis Colts or Cooper Kupp is to the Los Angeles Rams. First off, there isn't a single player who is more valuable to his team that a great quarterback is to theirs. That goes without saying. More importantly, it's guys like Arkush who give the media a bad name because they let their own personal biases sway their reporting and commentary. Any objective person can see that Aaron Rodgers should win MVP; He has the counting stats and the eye test on his side. For Arkush not to vote for Rodgers is just willful ignorance. Finally, Jason closes the show with a thorough explanation as to why nobody in the AFC playoff picture should fear the top-seeded Tennessee Titans. Sure, they're capable of beating the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, but they've also shown they're capable of losing to the Houston Texans and the New York Jets. The TItans are too inconsistent to be trusted.
