Destin Daniel Cretton will direct 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty'.
Marvel President Kevin Feige announced at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend that the Avengers will reunite for two new films in 2025, with Destin set to direct the first movie.
The two projects mark the conclusion of the sixth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), with 'Avengers: The Kang Dynasty' due for release on May 2, 2025. Destin is now well established at Marvel, having directed 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' and has now signed an overall deal with the studio.

He is collaborating with writer-producer Andrew Guest on a live-action series starring Wonder Man, which he will executive produce and possibly direct.
The director is also working on a 'Shang Chi' sequel. However, it is not yet clear who will star in the film or who will write the script. Kang or a version of the character will star in the upcoming 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' movie, due out in February 2023, marking the start of Phase 5 of the MCU.
