Do you know who this lady is? She’s Anna Jarvis. “Who’s Anna Jarvis?” I hear you ask. She’s the originator of Mother’s Day, You’ll find out a bit about her and the holiday in the third segment of this week’s show. To start off, we’ll be celebrating the birthday of composer Alfred Solman. In other segments, we’ll have a vocabulary lesson, take a long leap off a short pier, and in the final segment we’ll play the blame game.
