In this episode we chat with Derrick O'Keeffe, Head of Division - Safety & Integrity at NOPSEMA. Derrick gives us an overview of the Australian offshore petroleum legislation and shares some planned amendments to the Act to provide greater protections for the psychological health and safety of offshore workers. He discusses the approach that NOPSEMA takes in relation to psychological health and safety, and shares an example of enforcement action taken against an offshore employer.
