We’ve all been there: we’re trying to leave the park on what feels like the hottest day of the year and our 5-year-old has loudly declared that the only way they are leaving is by kicking and screaming. You’ve tried everything from bribes to your Angry Voice and nothing is working. Other park parents are shooting you empathetic looks and you’re sweating a LOT - and not from the heat. You’ve got a strong-willed kid on your hands!

If you’re tuning in to this podcast chances are you’re the kind of Mom who is 1) super tired but 2) wants to raise your kids in a way that recognizes and highlights all their best, natural abilities - even if they’re super challenging to deal with as parents. When it comes to raising strong-willed kids, our guest today has ALL the insight. Danielle Bettmann is the founder of Parenting Wholeheartedly, a Positive Discipline certified parenting Coach for families of strong-willed kids, and host of the Failing Motherhood podcast. She helps defeated parents find validation and support and uses proven techniques to parent their strong-willed kids with composure, connection, confidence, and cooperation. If you’re feeling a bit at your wits end and not totally sure how you’re going to make it through this summer, hit play - we’ve got you covered!
