Before there was Jack Black and the heartwarming, screwball comedy there was the real School of Rock - which turned boring piano lessons into rock sessions. Today the School of Rock has a franchise model, and Gwen Vryhof Bultema recently opened one in Grand Rapids. Gwen and her music direct Joshua Dreyer talk to the MiBiz Podcast about what drew them to the opportunity, why they think it works, and what our West Michigan gains from their presence.
