God loves it when His children make an effort to please Him. However, it takes ‘killing the flesh’ to make this effort. Although the flesh tries to overpower our souls and Godly desires so that we are forced to operate in our carnal nature, the Word of God is mighty and more powerful; able to overcome any ungodly desire. In this sermon, Pastor Thabo Marais teaches the importance of killing the flesh by the Word of God, which never leaves us ineffective but empowers us to flee the desires that oppose the Holy Spirit.
