We discuss the difference between PCR and rapid antigen testing with regards to detection of SARS-CoV-2; the sensitivity of rapid antigen tests and their ability to detect contagious people early and the use of CT values. We also explore how the Omicron variant affects our immune system, the incubation period of this variant and how the rapid antigen tests work in this scenario.
