Welcome to “Fostering Evolution – The Art of Giving and Receiving Feedback”, Episode #28 of Co-creating Peace – a series about conscious communication and conflict transformation.
One of the most powerful gifts we can receive is reflection of how others see and experience us. When that reflection is positive, we feel validated. When that reflection shows us something we don’t want to recognize in ourself, or is delivered in a way that is uncomfortable or unpleasant for us, we are inclined to reject or close off to that reflection, even though there may be opportunities there for us to learn and grow if we would be willing to examine and work with that reflection. In this episode, we’ll explore this dynamic and look at ways to give and receive feedback that foster personal growth and evolution.
