Meet Dr. Andrew Swiatowicz!
Dr. Andy Swiatowicz is a general dentist who practices in Wilmington, Delaware. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2010 and completed his General Practice Residency at Wilmington Hospital in 2011. He became a diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine in 2018. He owns two distinct practices. At his general practice, Swiatowicz Dental Associates, he provides comprehensive, patient-centered care focusing on occlusion and a niche of working with patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
He started Delaware’s first practice dedicated to sleep, Delaware Dental Sleep Medicine. He collaborates with other healthcare professionals to help patients manage their snoring and sleep-disturbed breathing. He is the section chief of Dental Sleep Medicine and Special Care Dentistry at ChristianaCare Health Systems in Delaware. Through this role, he teaches residents sleep medicine through didactic education and direct patient care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Andy likes to travel with his husband, Brandon. He is also an avid collector of art and vintage pyrex!
