It can be a dangerous job if done wrongly. Your parents will stare blankly at you while you explain what your job is… Having worked in Agile for more than 8 years, I’ve learnt things that you wouldn’t believe to be true. How could they be after all? During the talk I look at 7 things I would have loved to have known before becoming an Agile Coach. I had to learn them the hard way, hopefully you don’t have to. Some of the topics I’ll explore are : how important the role of language is any transformation how agile creates lots of problems in organisations the types of developers who don’t want Agile and what you can do about it how big your ego is matters And more things that no-one told me about. Why didn’t someone mention them before? Next thing someone will say the tooth fairy doesn’t exist…
